Inspired by the late Rajput temple ateliers of North India, circa 17th–18th century, characterized by refined ornamentation and composed devotional presence.

This finely carved marble head represents Vishnu in his transcendent aspect as Adhokshaja, the imperceptible and all-pervading divine. The sculpture is distinguished by its serene expression, balanced facial symmetry, and sensitively modelled features, conveying a sense of quiet authority and spiritual introspection.

The elaborately articulated headdress and ornaments reflect a refined sculptural vocabulary, where intricate detailing is harmonized with a composed and restrained overall form.
